The club plays 3 days each week from September to the end of May (except for Christmas and New Year break) with opportunities to play in galas and charity events at other venues through the summer months.
The club holds competitions with trophies for the finalists in the Singles and Pairs events as well as the Dick Staines Cup (spoon drive) and the target bowls event.
For players wanting to test themselves in external competitions, Letchworth enters teams in the Barnet League and the Herts and Beds League. Members can also enter county and national competitions.
