The Club was formed in 1924
We currently have 108 playing members and have a full fixture list of weekend and midweek men's, ladies and mixed matches throughout the season. The majority of games are friendlies, but the men also play in the Oxfordshire league and the ladies play in the Oxfordshire Top Club competition.
For a number of years we have also held organised Friday evening games of 6 rinks for club members, followed by bacon and sausage butties in the clubhouse bar. These are attended by 50 or so people during the summer and autumn and are great social events. These Friday evening games make it easier for new and inexperienced bowlers to mix with those more experienced to learn and enjoy the game.
We have other social occasions during the season because we realise this to be an important element of the club, During season our clubhouse bar is open every weekday from 7pm.
